Tina and Amanda
Tina Louise is a popular American artist, writer and actress best known for her role as Ginger Grant in the 1960s the television show Gilligan's Island. The actress began her career in stage shows during the 1950s, beginning by performing in Two's Company a musical by Bettle Davis. Then she performed in a variety of Broadway productions, before becoming huge in the national theater scene with Li'l Abner's in the year 1957. In 1957, she also made her debut album entitled It's Time for Tina. Louise started with her Hollywood career in 1958, in which she played Griselda Walden in God's Little Acre, a drama film. It was a huge success, and Louise was awarded her the Golden Globe Award for the New Star of the Years category. She attended Actors Studio, New York during this period and became Lee Strasberg's teacher. The next role she starred in was through in 1964 when she signed with CBS to play Ginger Grant in 1964. Louise was able to balance her acting career with ease across Broadway as well as Hollywood performing somber characters contrasted to her perception of a glamour doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. In SG-1 and Helen Magnus on Sanctuary. She has also becoming a highly-acclaimed director on famous television shows like Supernatural as well as The 100. Her family moved from Essex to Toronto, where she spent both her teenage and adult years. Following her selection for the role as Samantha Carter, she moved to Vancouver at the age of 17 and she has been there since then.
