Kelly Michelle Stables was raised in St. Louis in Missouri. She performed with The Muny Opera. She received her cumlaude degree from The University of Missouri Columbia with a Bachelors degree in Communication and theater. She started her career in Los Angeles as a theater artist, performing and choreographing over 20 plays and musicals. They included The Little Foxes Brady Bunch The Musical Peter Pan and The Thousand Oaks Civic Light Opera's The Musical Peter Pan. She also performed seven titles at Los Angeles' Storybook Theatre. Kelly was able to land films and TV roles when she discovered improvisation. She also was a Theatre West company member. Kelly's distinctive voice and petite size have enabled her to perform a wide range of characters. Her role with Naomi Watts as Samara the character on The Ring 2 is well recognized, but she's most well-known as the enthusiastic receptionist in Two and a Half Men. Between 2011 and 2015, Kelly played a paralegal at-day/party night hopper as a Series regular in the TV Land sitcom The Exes. In addition, Kelly was Alyssa's sassy sexpert sibling on ABC's Romantically Challenged. On the The CW's No Tomorrow she played a overwhelmed suburban mom. Her soprano voice has been lent by her voice to a variety of shows, including Doc McStuffins Tom & Jerry and Sofia the First. Recent appearances include her as the charming and dim Cloud 9 employees on NBC's Superstore. She is married with two kids, and lives in a peaceful home. She loves to write and sew.
