Kelly Michelle Stables was raised in the city of St. Louis St. Louis, Missouri. She performed with The Muny Opera. She earned her degree at The University of Missouri Columbia with a BA in Communications and Theatre. Her career began as a performer in Los Angeles as a theater artist. She choreographed and performed in over 20 plays and musicals. The most notable of these were The Little Foxes Brady Bunch The Musical Peter Pan and The Thousand Oaks Civic Light Opera's The Musical Peter Pan. She also performed seven title roles at LA's Storybook Theatre. In addition to continuing her studies in improvisation at The Groundlings and becoming a Company member of Theatre West Kelly also started landing roles on television and film. Her voice is distinctive and small stature makes her a good choice for many roles. Her work together with Naomi Watts as Samara the antagonist on The Ring 2 is well recognized, but she's better recognized for playing the vibrant receptionist of Two and a Half Men. From 2011 to 2015 Kelly worked as a paralegal in the daytime and a party hopper at-night as a Series regular for The TV Land show The Exes. Kelly was also a regular as Alyssa's charming, smart sister on the ABC show Romantically Challenged and as the stressed-out suburban mom in the CW series No Tomorrow. She is known for her soprano voice in a variety of animated shows, including Tom & Jerry's Sofia the First or Doc McStuffins. She was most recently seen in the NBC's hit comedy Superstore as the subdued charming Cloud 9 worker. Alongside her husband, two kids and writing and sewing as her hobbies, she enjoys a quiet life.
